We would like to formally announce Andrew Gottliebsen as our senior coach for season 2019/20. His role will be non-playing, and will be looking to build upon the great foundation achieved by Slacky and the other club leaders over the past few years.

A past club Vice President and member of our “Team of the Era”, Andrew has recently retired from playing after in excess of 200 1st XI games across both the RDCA & FTGDCA. On field he played representative cricket for both associations, made teams of the year and won bowling averages at both association and club level, he is also a member of 3 premiership teams including our only Chandler Shield flag in 2003/04.

Playing in District ranks for two seasons, Andrew has had experience coaching senior cricket at a local level, and also many years of experience coaching domestic and representative basketball and most recently junior football.

Over the coming weeks you will see further updates and announcements from the club surrounding onfield leaders for season 2019/20, a special night where we as a group will define our direction for the future, and then an event to “meet the coach” where we can all hear about the plans for the coming year/s and then have a social night together talking about the plans an watching the footy.
